| | Iris - Goo Goo Dolls | ] | First off, let me tell you this. I'm from New York and I empathize the pain that people went through on that day. I hate (and there's not many people that I hate) the people behind the attacks. I know they will get what they deserve.
However, I don't understand the reason behind five hour specials of 9/11. We all know what happened. If not, there are over a dozen books and web articles clearly explaining the happenings of that day. I'm no liberal and I'm not a complete Bush basher, but Bush just wants to be in a good light. He's using this oppertunity to shine a light on ONE of the FEW things he did right in his presidency.
Another thing, I don't understand why people get so much more hyped up about it than they should. This was FIVE years ago. America has moved on (not forgotten) and we have pushed past difficulties that not many countries can talk about. Let this day be for the ones who lost a parent, a child, a friend. This is a day for them. And them only. It is sad and it hurts, but my father was not in that burning building, and my brother was not caught in the smoke. I've seen people today wear that red, white, and blue ribbon and talk about it like they were there, but then two seconds later they start on about their shopping spree last weekend. Let this day be remembered as the day America learned. We learned. We made a mistake, but we learned from it, and we are stronger because of it. So, don't grieve for people you never knew. Rejoyce for the lessons taught and for the people who did lose someone. Give them a helping hand, not tears. Because, hell, we all need a smile once in a while. |

Introducing the new Bio-Optic Organized Knowledge device, trade named: B O O K BOOK is a revolutionary breakthrough in technology: no wires, no electric circuits, no batteries, nothing to be connected or switched on. It's so easy to use, even a child can operate it. Compact and portable, it can be used anywhere -- even sitting in an armchair by the fire -- yet it is powerful enough to hold as much information as a CD-ROM disc. Here's how it works: BOOK is constructed of sequentially numbered sheets of paper (recyclable), each capable of holding thousands of bits of information. The pages are locked together with a custom-fit device called a binder, which keeps the sheets in their correct sequence. Opaque Paper Technology (OPT) allows manufacturers to use both sides of the sheet, doubling the information density and cutting costs. Experts are divided on the prospects for further increases in information density; for now, BOOKs with more information simply use more pages. Each sheet is scanned optically, registering information directly into your brain. A flick of the finger takes you to the next sheet. BOOK may be taken up at any time and used merely by opening it. Unlike other display devices, BOOK never crashes or requires rebooting, and it can even be dropped on the floor or stepped on without damage. However, it can become unusable if immersed in water for a significant period of time. The "browse" feature allows you to move instantly to any sheet and move forward or backward as you wish. Many come with an "index" feature, which pinpoints the exact location of selected information for instant retrieval. An optional "BOOKmark" accessory allows you to open BOOK to the exact place you left it in a previous session -- even if the BOOK has been closed. BOOKmarks fit universal design standards; thus, a single BOOKmark can be used in BOOKs by various manufacturers. Conversely, numerous BOOKmarkers can be used in a single BOOK if the user wants to store numerous views at once. The number is limited only by the number of pages in the BOOK. You can also make personal notes next to BOOK text entries with an optional programming tool, the Portable Erasable Nib Cryptic Intercommunication Language Stylus (PENCILS). Portable, durable, and affordable, BOOK is being hailed as a precursor of a new entertainment wave. Also, BOOK's appeal seems so certain that thousands of content creators have committed to the platform andinvestors are reportedly flocking. Look for a flood of new titles |

So, audrey, I'm never going to make fun of your emo-ness again. I know what it really feels like to be depressed. Hurt. Angry. Jealous. Two years ago, I thought I knew what that meant. I thought I had the best friends in the world, just maybe I had too much expectations.
Now I know. I don't have high expectations. I have bad friends. Or lazy friends. Or lying friends. Or uncaring friends. My mom always said I knew how to pick 'em. I don't think she meant this, but it applies. |

... you feel cheated and they have no idea
... you hate this person for all of two hours in your life, but you get over it becuase you do not have petty dramatic problems
... someone doesn't acknoledge you, but whatever RIGHT? you love them. And that's all that matters
... glory and fame become them, and it all goes to their head... and you become nothing
love sucks...

| | G.Love - Hot Cookin' | ] | DC was wrong... bees are scary shit.
OSSIAN, Indiana (AP) -- A teenage driver crashed into a hollow tree and stirred up tens of thousands of angry honey bees, creating a swarm that sent her and nine others to the hospital.
"Those bees were mad," said Volunteer Fire Chief Kent Gilbert, who was stung at least 50 times while trying to pull the 16-year-old driver from the wreckage. "I've never seen bees, especially honeybees, attack like that."
Jacqueline Cossairt's SUV slammed into the tree Tuesday after she lost control on a gravel road about 10 miles south of Fort Wayne.
By the time rescuers arrived, a black cloud of buzzing insects had engulfed the car, forcing firefighters to wear full safety gear -- complete with oxygen tanks and face masks -- with temperatures in the 90s.
Safety workers doused the bees with water and foam while they tried to free Cossairt, who was taken to a nearby hospital with broken legs and multiple bee stings. She was remained at Lutheran Hospital on Thursday.
A neighbor, along with a paramedic and seven firefighters, were also hospitalized for bee stings and heat-related symptoms.
"You can't really train for that. You don't really know. You look for downed power lines. You don't look for a million bees," said Master Trooper Bob Brophy, commander of the Indiana State Police's Fort Wayne post.
Bee expert Stan Grove, a biology professor at Goshen College, said the insects are most active in warm weather when they furiously fan their wings to cool the temperature of the hive.
"They don't like to be jostled," Grove said. |

I've always wondered if I was good enough. But before I really didn't care. Now, with everything clashing together I find I care more than ever. Before I didn't care if I wasn't accepted to all the colleges I applied to as long as I found a good college. But now, all I want is to get into Marymount.
However, I don't think that's gonna happen...
Before I was estatic to go back to school. Now, not so much. I really don't want to be in the company of people who don't like me for hours on end. And it's getting more competitive...
So, if I'm bitchy (which I know is going to happen) and self-centered until I find out if I'm getting into Marymount well then know I'm probably a) really stressed or b) really pissed at you...
right now it's b...
